Having a problem?
Most problems are fixed by one of these. Tap a question to open it.
I can't join my class game
Check the 6-digit code on the teacher's screen. Codes change for every game.
If the teacher has already started, you can still join. You'll come in at the next question.
"Game not found" means the game has ended, or the teacher closed it. Ask them to start a new one.
Scan the QR code on the board instead of typing the code.
It's stuck loading or says it's reconnecting
Check you have signal or Wi-Fi. College Wi-Fi sometimes drops out. Try switching to mobile data.
Pull down to refresh, or close the tab and open it again. If you were in a class game you'll go straight back in.
Still stuck? Tell your teacher. If nobody can load it, the server may be restarting. Give it a minute.
My score or money didn't save
You need to be signed in. Guests can play, but scores aren't kept.
Solo earnings stop at the cap for each unit. Class games, jobs and the progress tree still pay.
Games answered unrealistically fast aren't saved.
Only full games (all topics) go on a unit leaderboard. Practice runs still earn money.
I forgot my password or can't sign in
Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a reset link.
No email? Check your junk or spam folder, and wait a couple of minutes.
If you signed up with Google or Microsoft, use that button again. You don't have a Blueprint password.
It says I left the app during a question
Blueprint notices when you switch apps or tabs during a question. It's shown in your stats so you can see which questions you had to look up.
Notifications and calls can count too. Turn on Do Not Disturb before a class game.
The page looks wrong or buttons don't work
Update your browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox).
Turn off data saver or reader mode for this site.
Clear the site's data: this signs you out, but your money and tools are saved on your account.
Put Blueprint on my home screen
iPhone (Safari): tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Android (Chrome): tap ⋮, then Add to Home screen.
A question or answer looks wrong
Email us with the unit, the question and what you think is wrong. We check every report.
Contact us
Still stuck, found a mistake, or have an idea? Email us and include the unit or game code if it's about a game.
Blueprint (blueprint.amtrix.io) is a revision website for trade students, run in the UK. We are responsible for your data under UK data protection law (UK GDPR). Contact us at .
What we collect
Your account: your email address, your player name and tag (for example John#3534), and your password stored as a secure hash (we can't read it). If you sign in with Google or Microsoft we only receive your name and email address, and use them only to sign you in.
Your progress: scores, money earned, tools bought, jobs done, which questions you got right or wrong, how long each took, and whether you left the app during a question.
Class games: the name you join with and your answers. Live game data is cleared a few hours after the game. The teacher's class report (names, scores and answers) is kept for up to 1 year.
Classes: if you join a teacher's class, we store that you are in it and the name your teacher gives you (for example your first name).
Teacher requests: if you ask for teacher access, we store your full name, where you teach, your job title and your work email, so we can check you are a real teacher.
Guests who don't sign in: nothing is stored on our server apart from class game answers while the game runs.
Why we use it
To run the game, keep you signed in and save your scores and leaderboard places.
To show you and your teacher your weak spots so you can revise.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (running a revision service you chose to use), and your consent for optional cookies and ads.
How we protect it
Everything is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Your account, scores, stats and class game data are encrypted on our server with AES-256, so the stored files can't be read without a separate key.
Passwords are never stored, only a one-way scrypt hash. Sign-in tokens are stored hashed too.
Sign-in attempts and teacher tools are rate-limited to stop guessing, and the site sends strict browser security headers.
We keep encrypted daily backups for 14 days so nothing is lost if the server fails.
Google and Microsoft sign-in
If you choose "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Microsoft", we ask only for your basic profile (name and email). We don't get your password, contacts, files or any other data from those accounts, we don't share it with anyone, and we don't use it for advertising. Blueprint's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Who can see it
Leaderboards show your player name and tag, never your email.
Teachers hosting a class game see the names and scores of players in that game.
If you join a class, that teacher can see your player name, your scores, the units and topics you need to work on and when you last played. This only starts once you enter their code, tick the box to agree and they accept you. It stops when you leave the class. Your email is never shown to teachers.
The name a teacher gives you is only shown to that teacher and to you.
Teacher request details are only seen by the person who runs Blueprint.
We don't sell your data. Emails are sent through our email provider only to sign you in, reset your password or deal with a request for teacher access.
Cookies and storage
Essential (always on): we store a sign-in token, your chosen subject and your progress in your browser's local storage. Without these the site doesn't work.
We keep your account while you use it. Accounts not used for 2 years are deleted automatically, along with their stats and scores.
Class game reports for teachers are kept for 1 year, then deleted.
The name a teacher gives you is deleted when you leave the class or the class is deleted. Teacher request details are deleted when the request is withdrawn or the account is deleted.
Backups are deleted after 14 days.
You can download or delete your data yourself at any time below.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email . If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Delete your Blueprint account
You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, at any time.
In the app: tap the cog at the top right, then Delete my account.
On this website: sign in, come back to this page and use Delete my account below.
Can't sign in? Email from the address on the account and we'll delete it within 30 days.
What is deleted: your account, name and email address, money, tools, home, career, scores, leaderboard entries, question history and class memberships. It happens straight away and can't be undone. Copies inside our encrypted backups are removed within 14 days, when those backups are deleted.
Your data
Download a copy of everything Blueprint holds about you, or delete your account for good.
Delete my account
This deletes your account, money, tools, scores and stats straight away. It can't be undone.
